Designed by renowned Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek, the IKEA INDUSTRIELL collection was introduced in 2018 as a limited-edition collaboration celebrating handcrafted character and the beauty of imperfection. Inspired by traditional workshop furniture, the INDUSTRIELL Shelf Unit combines solid pine and powder-coated steel to create a warm industrial look that quickly became one of IKEA’s most admired modern collections. The series was discontinued after a relatively short production run, making original INDUSTRIELL pieces increasingly sought after by collectors of designer IKEA furniture and lovers of Scandinavian interiors.
